Dr.Philip Idaewor

He graduated as a medical doctor from University of Benin, School of medicine in 1987 earning the MBBS degree and went on to specialise in Histopathology/cellular Pathology.

He became a fellow of the National Postgraduate medical college of Nigeria, faculty of pathology (FMCPath) in 1999. He also has an MSc degree in Immunology and Immunocytochemistry from the University of Benin. After the mandatory one year National Youth service at the General Hospital, Mani Katsina state in 1988/1989 and Dr Idaewor began his career in academic Alma Mata as a graduate Assistant. During this time he combined his job as a young University teacher contributing to the training of medical doctors with his own specialist training spending time during this period at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan and the Lagos University teaching Hospital (LUTH), Lagos, Nigeria.

Dr Idaewor served in diverse administrative and student mentoring roles as a medical educator and also led doctors in training both at the local Teaching hospital and at the National level as President, Association of Resident Doctors, UBTH; National Financial Secretary, National Association of Resident doctors and as Member; Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Edo State – Medical Ethics Committee.

As a medical practitioner, Dr Idaewor has gained extensive experience in the UK, Sweden and Nigeria and continues in medical practice in his chosen specialty of Histopathology in the UK National Health Service (NHS). Outside of Medical education and clinical practice, Dr Idaewor has immersed himself in issues of good governance, democracy, community development and human rights in Nigeria. Dr Idaewor sits on the board of various charitable organisations such as Nigeria Aid, Arise Nigeria, Leaders Society Nigeria, and Chief Anthony Enahoro Foundation etc.

Mr Ayoola Lawal

Ayoola Lawal is a Scandinavia-based entrepreneur. The chief executive officer of LRA Consulting Limited, and chief operating officer of Swedish Designs Trading Group

International, Sweden. He is an associate of Inclusive Business Sweden. He was previously the marketing director (West Region) of Scandinavia Designs Trading  AB. He holds an MSc in Global Management from Stalford Business School, Manchester/ Robert Kennedy College, Switzerland/ Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness-Harvard Business School, and a B.Sc in Biochemistry from Lagos State University in Nigeria.

He holds a Diploma in Entrepreneurship from Focus Business School, Sweden, and a Certificate in Project and Program Management and Administration from the MDF in the Netherlands.

Mr. Stephen Adeoyo Tella

Barr. Manni Ochugboju

Mr Manni Ochugboju is a qualified attorney of nearly three decades experience, specialising in Public Utilities Regulation, Law and Development.

In the last few years he has been working extensively on Railway reforms, Inland waterways, and Ports management. His interest and involvement with the transportation sector dates back to 1988 when he was first employed as one of the pioneer officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission, where he worked as a young officer and rapidly rose to the position of a Zonal Commanding Officer, in charge of the then, Gongola State (including present day Adamawa and Taraba States, Borno State (including present day Yobe State), Bauchi State (including present day Gombe State), and Plateau State (including present day Nasarawa State).

His first degree is in Political Science, which was awarded at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He later read Law at the University of Jos, and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Barrister. He holds a Masters of Law Degree from the University of London (SOAS) specialising in Law and Development, and also a Masters Degree from the University of Kent, Canterbury, specialising in International Economic Law. He also holds a Masters of Research in Law Degree from the University of London (Birkbeck), and was a Land Law Session Lecturer in the 2010/11 academic year, before moving on to focus on his PhD research in ECOWAS electricity regulation.

Thus far, Mr Ochugboju has been working on his research and part-time lecturing job, including the management of his law firm in Abuja, Nigeria, where he is the principal partner at Ochugboju & Co Barristers & Solicitors.

Mr Ochugboju is deeply interested in Public Utilities Regulation, including, water resources, and railway, gas and electricity networks. He collaborates on waste to energy projects, bio-fuel and other green energy solutions. His professional guiding doctrine as a lawyer is that – everything matters.

Dr CAL Amayo is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners United Kingdom, A principal/partner in a thriving General medical practice in East London and founder of Ethiope Foundation a UK based NGO that focuses on environmental and health issues.

A communicator with wide ranging skills in medicine, who has acquired skills in leading teams and developing welcoming and enthusiastic atmosphere that foster high quality medical practice.

Dr Amayo is the Medical Director of Peoples Health Foundation PHF

Mr. Charles Eze

Holds  an MSc in NGO and Development Management from University of East London. Currently runs two NGOs for Nigerian Communities in UK. A strategist, multi-skilled and experienced integrated marketing /advertising /communication consultant with operational and boardroom experience in Nigeria, South Africa and UK.

Charles is Head Advocacy and Communication for People’s Health Foundation (PHF).

Tony Ike Isama

Tony is a health services management professional with expansive cognitive knowledge and experience in national, international, institutional and community health administration, policy development, programming and social services delivery.

Tony has held lead management positions in a number of professional enterprises, with senior advisory roles in toe. He has excelled in senior executive management, administrative and entrepreneurial undertakings, both locally and internationally.

Tony as the Special Assistant on Health Matters to the President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in the 8th National Assembly; and is a Legislative Aide in the Office of Senate President of the 9th National Assembly.

Tony is well invested in community political, socio-economic, cultural and development initiatives in both Nigeria and North America ~ USA – Canada.

Tony is the Chairman Emeritus, All Progressives Congress, USA Chapter; and Chairman Emeritus, Committee of Diaspora Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress.

He has coordinated and galvanized support of Nigerian and African Diaspora professionals and business owners to engage and participate in the political activities of the Washington, DC Metropolitan to include: Washington, DC, Prince Georges County, Montgomery County and the State of Maryland.

Tony obtained his dual advanced degree in 1980 from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana USA and his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington USA, in 1978.

Prof (Sir) Ade Ojeniyi

Professor Ade Ojeniyi, is a Public health physician. He is Professor of human and veterinary medicine and was the former chief physician and medical adviser to the Greenland government. He was awarded the knighthood of the Dannebrog Order of the Kingdom of Denmark in 2018 one of the highest honours in Denmark presented by Queen Margarethe II.

Professor Ade Ojeniyi championed the introduction of cervical cancer vaccination in Greenland in 2007, thereby making Greenland the first on earth where girls were vaccinated against the scourge of cervical cancer.

Dr Zainab Kwaru

Dr. Zainab Kwaru Muhammad-Idris has well over ten years’ considerable experience managing Sexual Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health, HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other public health related programmes in Nigeria.
She has contributed as a trainer, gender and health management consultant and facilitator for various groups and institutions. Currently, she is a Lecturer with the Department of Community Medicine, College of Medicine, Kaduna State University.

Dr. Veronica Oluyemi Nyamali

Obtained her M. B. CH. B. from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.  A fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Psychiatry) and a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist.
 A Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner – CPRP (US) and a Certified Child and Family Rehabilitation Practitioner – CFRP (US). 

Currently, she is on the Board of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) and a member of the World Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation.  

She is a consultant at the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Unit of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Yaba – Lagos. Nigeria.
